Fig.1-9. Angular (Angle) Heads help increase productivity by reducing the time and resources spent on machining the workpieces.

The machining (i.e. drilling, reaming, cutting, threading, milling, etc.) of the workpieces, which can't be processed directly or have a limited access, usually leads to multiple operations like stopping the machine, unclamping, turning (positioning) and re-clamping the workpiece, then starting the machining again.
